The Max

The sun has been out! So now the sprinkler is out too…though Max says: “Make the water warm!”

Today was the first day for after school ice cream. Max gives it a thumbs up. Tomorrow–shorts!

We went to check out Clifton Nursery over in Little Venice and found a little park along the way. The Max and Daddy found a little time to play a quick game of catch and Max also tried out all the little exercise stations along the way. I wish I’d taken a video of him doing push ups because it was too cute for words.

The Max had a few Playmobil stragglers so I asked him to pick them up. “I can’t,” he said. “That’s the siege of my room.”

We are on the way to Wookey for an overnight dinner party at the house of a guy Tony works with. Fields of brilliant yellow outside (apparently rapeseed for oil but I’d rather think it some kind of magical crop). A new adventure awaits.

I thought I’d try something fun for Max’s breakfast this Friday. Elephants and pineapple…

Rainy day off today so we took The Max ice skating at the Queensway Ice and Bowl. He had a penguin named Muddles to help him along. It was a bit tough going at first, but after an hour he was practically an old pro.
