Max and his classmates have been preparing for the Harvest Festival for over a week now. They learned a poem. Yesterday, Max and I went shopping and decorated up a harvest basket for a local charity that the school sponsors.
I colored the leaves myself!
This morning was finally the day of the assembly! Max was very excited, even though he is still sick with a cold (mostly a runny nose, but a bit of a cough too). We dropped off the basket and he went to class to prepare. He wore his red shirt to go with his red leaf (Mommy had suggested his nice blue shirt, but that wouldn’t do for a Harvest festival).

The Den (Max’s class) went first. They performed their poem and also sang a song! They all did a wonderful job. I’m very proud of Max.
